The Randy Ewen Memorial Golf Tournament (REMGT) was created in loving memory of a man whose legacy has left an unforgettable mark on all who knew him, Randy Ewen. As we thought of ways to honor Randy, we wanted to do something in his memory that would make a difference and incorporate the things he loved, golf and children. A golf tournament benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Connecticut couldn't be a more fitting memorial.
I think Randy has a smile on his face knowing how much he was loved, respected and how many kids we have been able to help through the Make-A-Wish organizaton he so much believed in.
At the 2017 REMGT, Donna & Kelly Ewen presented a $ 19,000 check to John Scanlon - Board Member of Make-A-Wish of Connecticut. Since our first tournament in 2010, the REMGT has adopted twelve wishes, raising over $133,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation Adopt-A-Wish® program.
